Media Statement from Dr. Timothy Pike, Chief Medical Officer
April 13, 2012
Update: Detectives Murphy and Kukesh were released from the hospital.
We appreciate the number of phone calls that we have received for these officers. We have in our Intensive Care Unit, Detective Jeremiah Murphy of the Rochester Police Department and Detective Scott Kukesh of the Newmarket Police Department. At this time, both are comfortable, their conditions are stable, and their families are at their sides.
I am pleased to say that yesterday, Detective Gregory Turner of the Dover Police Department and Detective Eric Kulberg of the UNH Police Force were treated and released.
Our hospital family extends deepest sympathy to the family of Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney, and the law enforcement community.
The families of Detectives Murphy and Kukesh appreciate the well-wishes and prayers. We will do our best to keep you advised of their conditions on a daily basis while they are in our care.
