Portsmouth Regional Hospital CEO Dean M. Carucci, recently presented a check for $5,000, to Sandi Coyle in support of the Safe Harbor Recovery Center. The Safe Harbor Recovery Center has developed an ambitious plan to expand peer based recovery support services over the next several years. Safe Harbor Recovery Center’s mission is to foster recovery and empower individuals and families of the Greater Seacoast Region of New Hampshire. The Safe Harbor Recovery Center is a peer recovery center where individuals support and inspire one another to maintain sobriety and make a positive impact on the community.

“We admire the courage of those battling addiction and are pleased to be able to support this important initiative”, said Carucci. “The opiate epidemic is a crisis affecting not only our local community but communities across the state of New Hampshire. We have recognized that this epidemic will only be resolved through collaboration from a number of community agencies and organizations”, he added.
