Frank Colizzo, MD, FACP
Dr. Colizzo graduated cum laude from Lafayette College in Easton, PA with a B.S. in chemistry. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. While at Jefferson, he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, an honor bestowed upon the top 10 percent of medical graduates. A fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology'was completed at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston.Prior to joining Seacoast Gastroenterology, Dr. Colizzo had worked in Boston as a gastroenterologist at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. During that time he held a position as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
During his tenure at Seacoast Gastroenterology, Dr. Colizzo has become highly proficient at providing quality advanced endoscopic procedures, among them endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic mucosal resection of early tumors, and radiofrequency ablation of Barrett's esophagus. He also provides basic endoscopic services such upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Dr. Colizzo remains highly interested in and active in introducing the latest in interventional endoscopic services to his patients along the New Hampshire seacoast.
