Second Wind Program Requirements

Enrollment in Second Wind requires a referral from your physician. Our staff can help you with this process. If not done recently, a breathing test may need to be performed before starting the program to help establish your eligibility and assess your individual needs.

You will be scheduled for an assessment and orientation session before you begin which will include a supervised walk test. At the end of the program the health assessment and walk test are repeated.

Program Costs

The program fee will include physical therapy interval training, education, oxygen saturation monitoring and staff supervision. Medicare will cover a percentage of the cost for eligible individuals. Pre Program certification may be required by some insurances.

For more information call Second Wind: 603-433-4895.
